Do you have a counter argument? If you look at movie sales from their opening weekend, you’ll see that opening day was huge, and then the following days dropped off drastically… a telling sign that I’m not alone in my hatred for the over-hyped movie.

Hahaha. I know!

Although I do remember them saying something about “every major city” they only showed one explosion, the president’s map only showed one explosion, and they never actually showed any other explosion. So I think it was only one city.

Anyway, thanks for commenting. It’s a shame that so many people ended up watching Watchmen…

Absolutely spot on, Ash. I was ranting about this for three whole days to ANYONE who would listen.

Except that you missed that every major city got blowed up, not just New York. So that makes it worser even.

Totally agree about the unexplained stuff. You could have cut out all the SIlk Specter’s every mood crap and put in three minutes here or there to explain crucial plot points. Plus, WTF is up with the ED during the sex scene? Is that necessary???

Calling that a chick flick demeans real chick flicks, tho. I don’t watch many of those either.

Don’t go see this with anyone you don’t want to watch graphic sex with. Like for instance your Dad. My dad called it creepy and weird. I’d agree.
